Hi,

My name is Daniel T. Simpson,

and I am a huge mechanical engineering nerd.

I believe that through new technology, we can build a better world.

I will always hold onto that philosophy. So, I’ve been persistently improving my skills with every engineering project, in hopes to build towards this better world.

Another philosophy I believe is if it doesn’t challenge you it, doesn’t change you and my academic and industry experiences show it. I built up strong grades in Shrewsbury High School and earned a spot in the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science where I received my high school diploma. Soon, Northeastern University (NU) accepted me into their College of Engineering where I have completed my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. While at university, I completed two co-ops as a mechanical engineer at Amazon Robotics and at Desktop Metal. Finally, I had the pleasure of leading teams of engineers through NUAV (NU’s drone club). All of these experiences gave me opportunities to build up my skills and become a thorough, analytical, and effective mechanical engineer.

Feel free to look through my projects and see what I learned from each!
