Hi,
My name is Daniel T. Simpson,
and I am a huge mechanical engineering nerd.
We can build a better world with new technology.
I will always hold onto that philosophy. To help create this world, I’ve been persistently improving my engineering skills. I tackled my first engineering challenge when I was 13, and I’ve been learning from each project ever since. I truly believe if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you.
My academic and industry experiences show my grit. In my sophomore year, I was accepted into the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science where my education in STEM accelerated. Soon, I was accepted into Northeastern University (NU) where I have completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Math. While at university, I developed industry experience at co-ops such as Desktop Metal and Amazon Robotics and improved project development skills by leading teams of engineers through NUAV (NU’s drone club).
